Why is the Bike called Frank? The Name originates from Frankenstein, referring to the monster build from parts by the doctor. The bike was has a quite divers heritage:

- Fork: RockShox, Sektor RL SoloAir 130mm -> Maintenance Free since day one
- Wheels: 26″ Veltec, Custom
- Hub: Veltec SL (15mm quick release)
- Rim: Mavic EX 721 (Front) – Bontrager Earl (Back) -> bought from a used wheelset in a bike store in Oregon after the Mavic Rear busted after 3500km The whole Story
- Spokes: 2.0-1.8-20
- Tires: Schwalbe, Mondial 26×2.15 -> As of today only one flat from puncture. Awesome!
- Shifters: Shimano, SLX 9-Speed 11-28 -> (Crankset & Front derailleur from my old MTB)
- Brakes: Shimano, Zee (203/180)
- Saddel: Brooks, B17? -> Got it from a used Surley LHT that went Coast2Coast
- Pedals, Seatpost: Truvativ, Holzfeller
- Grips: Ergon GS2 L
